What stinks?

Guitarists are a strange lot. We are full of quirks and neurotic behavior that would drive Dr. Freud to drink. One behavior which is completely primal and uncontrollable is the stinkface. The look on our faces when we are living in the moment and feeling the music we are playing.
Here are a few of my favorites in no particular order.
Neil Schon of Journey. Whew, that afro must have some funk in it.
Robert Trujillio of Metallica. Does Lars ever bath?
Dimebag Darrel. Must be the Crown and Coke that makes a face like that.
Stevie Ray Vaughn. You can’t play a 13 gauge high E and not make a face like that.

I think SRV was the King of Stinkface.
Bassists, on the other hand, we have that cool, sort of “in the groove” face, right?
Love it!

Yes, Angus makes a pretty stinky face. I do have one bass player here but for the most part bassists do have a more laid back groovin’ look.
